Elizabeth Power, M.Ed is an educator and program developer with expertise in competency-based adult learning and replication programs. She has developed programs for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, the Children’s Institute, and for the National Center for PTSD. In addition, she provides training development , delivery and evaluation services in the corporate sector. She is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association, the American Society for Training and the International Women’s Writing Guild. She is the CEO of EPower & Associates, Sidran’s authorized Risking Connection Training provider.
Ms Power has authored articles for professional journals and chapters in edited volumes on topics including nonprofit management, managing dissociative processes, and quality and made numerous presentations on these topics at national and international professional conferences. She authored the books Managing Our Selves: Building A Community of Caring, Managing Our Selves: God In Our Midst, the Associative Skills Series (topics of Coping with Change, Managing Feelings, Dealing with Boundaries) available from Sidran as well as the new book How to Get Happier-and why you should try to, available on Amazon. She is a frequent radio and TV talk show guest as well as international speaker and facilitator who has appeared on the Montel Williams and Faith Daniels shows and the cover of Successful Meetings.
Her audiences include professional and clinical conferences and practitioners, persons identifying as survivors of traumatic events, and faith communities.
